During
the second world war there was extensive bombing on Exeter
with the result many wills were lost. Prior to this thankfully,
a Miss Moger transcribed some of the Yeo wills and I have
copies of those extracts. I have also sent for all the Yeo
wills registered in the PRO in London and the Cornwall Record
Office. Sometimes wills were stored with family papers and
where I have found these I have obtained copies. Over the
next few months I will try and put some of these onto the
web. If I have a copy of the will it is recorded as 'Yes'
under the HELD column.I
have highlighted the wills I have put onto the web. If you
click on the name it will take you to the alphabetically listed
page (e.g. R wills or J wills) . They are then listed in date
order.
